Tyler Doan

Hey, I'm Tyler Doan! I'm a product manager who's all about turning ideas into impactful solutions through creativity, strategy, and user-first thinking. As a Computer Science major with a certificate in Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Duke University, I've been diving deep into product management—building features for e-commerce platforms, designing user-friendly experiences, and even running guerrilla marketing campaigns. What excites me most is connecting with people, understanding their pain points, and crafting solutions that genuinely resonate.

My product management journey has been a mix of hands-on experience and learning from diverse projects. At Duke, I sharpened my skills working at a fintech startup called Breva and as a fellow at Product Space @ Duke, where I tackled real-world projects and gained valuable mentorship. During Duke's Code+ program, I built an attendance app for the Graduate ECE department from the ground up—listening to user feedback and iterating until I had a fully-functioning product. Each of these experiences deepened my love for creating products that make a difference.

Outside of building products, I'm a jack-of-all-trades who loves picking up new skills and exploring creative outlets. From making music with my band, Weekend Therapy, to producing videos, powerlifting, cutting hair, and cooking—I'm constantly leveling up. These hobbies fuel my creativity and adaptability, helping me bring fresh perspectives to everything I work on. I'm excited to keep building, learning, and growing, always chasing that next challenge where I can make a meaningful impact.
